Unexpected error in MSM

I am attempting to use Multi-Server Manager (MSM) for the first time to move elements from our development server to our production server. I can connect to both servers, but unfortunately, when I highlight the development server and select the “Edit | Identify ID Types” menu item, I get an “Error” dialog with the following message:

“An unexpected error has occurred: Type does not match”

Does anyone know how I would go about correcting this? I checked the console.log file for the development server, and nothing is logged there.

I never determined how to find out more information about the “unexpected error” I was getting, but after applying the latest patch, the error went away. MSM appears to be working fine now. We are on v6.7.0 and applied patch RX-16101.
