I’ve used multiple CMS’s and I’ve liked how they have all handled creating templates. They allow you to markup the code the way you want and use global place holders to tell where content will be placed.
Have y’all ever thought about changing the way your templates are created? Personally, I like the ability to create the templates outside of the CMS and place them inside my theme so that I have the ability to choose them inside the CMS. There are a few aspects of Bootstrap and Foundation that I would like to use but the current template creation doesn’t allow me to use them.
I think it would be nice to have a place inside your theme folder called “templates” where all of your template files live and based on what you have in there, you have for choices. I’m a huge fan of how Wordpress does their templating and it makes it so much easier.
