I had an idea for an updated navigation / breadcrumb.
It would be nice if the navigation was a drag n’ drop setup similar to Wordpress. This would make it a lot easier for adding/removing menu items.
As for the breadcrumbs, it would be nice when you setup a page, that there be a field for breadcrumb name. So that when you add a breadcrumb widget to a page, it will read that field off of the page. Also, if you page has a long title, you can shorten it for the breadcrumb without affecting the page.
