Percussion strongly recommends that regardless of the current version of CMS System currently being run, all upgrades should be to the current shipping version.
That version is currently 6.7.
Any upgrades from versions prior to 5.7, we recommend that customers contact Support/PSO for a discussion on best paths forward.
When upgrading from 6.x to 6.7, no intermediary steps need to be taken. For example, upgrading from 6.52 to 6.7 does not require upgrading from 6.52 to 6.6 and then 6.7. An upgrade can be run from 6.52 straight to 6.7.
Customers upgrading from 5.x must upgrade to 6.52 prior to upgrading to 6.7. Migration to Velocity templates needs to be included as part of the upgrade plan. The migration to Velocity is not required as part of the upgrade and is recommended as a separate, secondary step of the upgrade.
