Weird JavaScript error on preview

I am trying to preview in Internet Explorer a relatively simple HTML code. But no matter what I do it always gives me a JavaScript error coming from dojo.js file

I left my HTML code almost blank having only head and body tags. But the the error is still there

Here is the error details

Message: ‘this.treeModel.getRootNode().objId’ is null or not an object

Code: 0

Can somebody please tell me what this error is and how to get rid of it?

I was just searching in our internal archives and found a similar error from somebody in the past. Have added a CSS link to the global template? If so, make sure the path is correct.
