Why EditLive! Inserts Empty P Tags With Non-Breaking Spaces

We have recently upgraded to 6.5.2 and are now looking to use EditLive. We have came across the above issue(Ephox Website) which is moving our content out of alignment on the page. Has anyone else come across this issue and if so managed to resolve it.

We’re pretty much at the mercy of Ephox on this one. They have explained their rationale, and unless somebody convinces them to change their minds, we’re all pretty much stuck.

It’s possible, of course, to “chomp” off the first <p> tag (using Strings and regular expressions) in your Velocity template, but this is a lot of work for such a simple problem.
