I think the widget builder needs an overhaul. It would be easier for the people with code experience to write a custom plugin similar to what you can do with any of the opensource CMS’s on the market currently. The current widget builder is too limited to be beneficial.

Make the widget ‘dynamic’ instead of ‘static’. Dynamic such as ability to add or remove slider image, caption, etc. for example…
